HSNG (Gymgrossisten)

Simple, effective collaboration, and good knowledge. That’s how Madelen Andersson (Logistics Manager at HSNG) sums up the partnership with Relevator.

When HSNG decided to invest in an AutoStore, a large and extensive project began, involving the emptying and vacating of their previous central warehouse.

Early on, Relevator came into the picture. Relevator was chosen to handle their 16 storage units and a sorting system. The 16 storage units consisted of 8 Vertical Lift Modules (Kardex Shuttle XP 500) and 8 Vertical Carousels (Kardex Megamat RS 650), all equipment from 2019. Planning and managing the dismantling of 16 storage units is time-consuming and complex. Relevator took care of costs, planning, and project management so that HSNG could focus on their move. Thanks to close collaboration, Relevator ensured that the machines were dismantled on schedule, allowing the premises to be vacated in time for the move.

In addition to the storage units, Relevator also handled their sorting system from SGA Conveyor. This sorting system has been key to efficient packing and sorting for several years, and in this case, HSNG chose to take 8 of the 12 sorting conveyors for reuse in their new premises. Relevator managed the rest, providing a complete sorting system ready for use in another operation.
