FREKAB specializes in the production of custom cabling and has been delivering products to customers in industries such as industrial, telecommunications, and automotive since 1998.

In the spring of 2022, they realized they needed to review their warehouse flow to production as it became very inefficient with frequent movement between the component warehouse and production. The component warehouse was located on a mezzanine with stairs.

To improve the flow, they decided to invest in a used Vertical Lift Module (VLM) placed near the production area. FREKAB chose a used Weland Compact Lift from 2008, and since Relevator had the machine in stock, the process from order to completed installation took only 5 weeks.

Vertical Lift Modules that have previously been installed in rows often lack original side panels. In the images, you can instead see Relevator’s aluminum sandwich panels – lightweight, rigid panels with a plastic coating that can be customized in color to meet your preferences.
